Studies show that over 50% of marriages end in divorce. The case is even more miserable with re-marriages, estimating 75% ending in divorce. The marital therapy profession can make no claims on the survival of marriage. It is no doubt that when there is a disaster in a marriage, the couple can feel helpless, fruitless, and perceive divorce as the only option.
