The Steak Mediterranean Taco Is Fit For A King!
After having exhausted all burrito combinations in Wellington, Florida (so far!) I have moved on to tacos! Tacos seem to be just what I need this summer. The pork mediterranean taco I dined on was absolutely exquisite. It's not often you come across such an agreeable taco for such an agreeable price. Frankly, I'm sick of the cheap fast food imitations. I want the real thing! And in this South Florida dining experience, I got it!
Immediately curious, I watched them start to prepare my taco. Or should I say tacos! Three soft flour tortillas were laid out just for me. They looked absolutely delicious, and I was anxious to see what happened next.
Then it was off to the meat (chicken, chicken breast, pork, and steak). Or no meat at all, I was immediately informed of by the employee helping me. The mediterranean was a perfect vegetarian meal in and of itself already, and no meat was necessary. Though for the carnivores, it did add a little bit of flavor.
I immediately saw what the nice employee was talking about when the first ingredient was a rich black bean hummus. It looked and tasted delightful. This black bean hummus was really something!
We then moved onto the veggies, and diced tomatoes were staring up at me. They looked fresh and when I was informed that they were local, an absolute must-have. This was probably one of the best ingredients on the menu, count me in for South Florida tacos!
This establishment met and exceeded all expectations I had for cheese. It's usually very hard to get such an enjoyable array of cheese, but here there was no problem. The parmesan that I loaded my taco with was just heavenly.
After the cheese was added on, this taco needed something else. Cucumbers! The crisp, fresh cucumbers I experience were absolutely delicious. I can't think of a better ingredient to add on!
At last, you're at the sauce station. This is a very important station, and for the mediterranean, means you will be getting the balsamic vinaigrette. Wellington's balsamic vinaigrette is the perfect sauce for this taco dish!
I should have suspected that only jupiter grills could have given me something like the vegetarian mediterranean taco. I am continually enthralled by their great taste in everything right down to chicken wrap. I may never leave Jupiter, Florida!
